Intended use

Whether for recreational, sporting or commercial purposes, the use of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) is steadily increasing. Even though drones are freely available for sale, operation in airspace without an official permit is only permitted within narrow limits.

The reasons for this lie in the wide range of possible uses, in the context of which hazards and impairments, for example to privacy, nature conservation, safety or noise protection, can quickly arise. But also impairments of manned aircraft are possible, which can have fatal consequences in the worst case. Due to such dangers, rules have been established by the legislator to minimize the risk for third parties, but at the same time to enable a safe and, above all, fair integration of drones in the airspace. Illegal operation of unmanned aerial vehicles can result in fines or even criminal proceedings.

For this reason, we have developed the free e-learning "Drones 1×1", which provides aspiring drone pilots with the necessary basic knowledge and can be used as an ideal supplement to the LBA online course A1/A3.

Scope of delivery
