Product Features

  • Complete control via the cloud

With DJI FlightHub 2, all functionalities for the DJI Dock can be unlocked from the cloud. Missions can be planned, flight routes can be created and edited, and all collected data can be managed.

  • Situation assessment in real time

Livestreaming in HD is possible at any time to control the DJI Dock and the drone.

  • Deployment planning

Complex flight routes are quickly and easily possible from a distance.

  • Timetable management

Flight routes can be edited, managed and transferred so that flight progress and results are always in view.

  • Data management and storage

The geotagged images, videos, maps and panoramas collected from your drones can be reviewed. Moreover, they can be automatically uploaded and saved for later use.

  • Operation and maintenance in one

From the cloud, the status and condition of the DJI Dock as well as the drones can be monitored.

  • Quick readiness for use due to fast charging

Thanks to TEC air conditioning, which cools the drone batteries and charges them from 10% to 90% in just 25 minutes, fast charging and takeoff is always possible.

  • Weather resistant

Rain or shine or day or night, DJI Dock can withstand extreme weather conditions.
Wind resistance up to 15 m/s, IP55 protection, operating temperature from - 35° C to 50° C), overvoltage protection (40 kA), emergency battery up to 5 hours, active temperature control for fast charging and drone safety, maintenance interval every 6 months.

  • Simple configuration

The DJI Dock has a footprint of less than 1 m² and weighs under 105kg. Setup requires a floor mount, power and internet, and quick configuration via the DJI RC Plus remote control.

  • Integrated and compact design

DJI Dock is packed with highly integrated hardware, making it very versatile (wide-angle surveillance camera with laser rangefinder, integrated weather station, slot for LTE network card, internal omnidirectional antenna, RTK module, slot for edge computing expansion).

  • Simple extensions

A cloud API opens up dock functionality for developers and system integrators to set up a custom, private server. They also have edge computing expansion slots that enable pre-processing of media files, among other things, to optimize operational efficiency.

  • Modular maintenance

The modular design of the core components simplifies maintenance enormously.

DRONIQlive:
How drones and AI are helping farmers to identify species in grassland

From mid-March to the end of May, farmers can earn money quickly and easily. The reason for this is Organic Regulation 5, which has been in force since 2023. Farmers who provide evidence of indicator species on their green spaces receive a subsidy.

What is time-consuming by hand is child's play and fast thanks to the drone and AI: the drone flies over the green space in just a few minutes. The collected data is evaluated for possible indicator species using AI-based software. The farmer receives the result a few hours later and can apply for the subsidy.

In our next webinar on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 7 p.m., we will take a closer look at this process.
