DEKRA Award

Together with its partner WirtschaftsWoche, Germany's leading business magazine, DEKRA has been organising the DEKRA Award for many years.

This year, the jury of experts awarded prizes for outstanding achievements and best practices in three new categories: "Safety", "Security" and "Sustainability". In addition, DEKRA once again honored young companies with promising ideas/concepts in the "Startups" category.

Droniq won first place in the "Safety" category with its U-Space Reallabor Hamburg project.

Jury: DEKRA invites experts, department heads and people responsible for specialist areas from different service divisions. In the first round, around ten experts evaluate, in the second round the seven-member jury from politics and business. Both panels judge the applications in the three categories according to: Effectiveness, Efficiency/Simplicity, Degree of Innovation, Sustainability, Transferability and Acceptability.

Hesse Champion

"Hessen-Champions" is a competition of the Hessian Ministry of Economics, the VhU and the Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Hessen, carried out by Hessen Trade & Invest GmbH (HTAI).

The Innovation and Growth Award is presented in three categories: The World Market Leader category honors Hessian companies that are global leaders in their industry with a product or service. The job engine category honors companies that have created an above-average number of new jobs in Hessen. The Innovation category is aimed at companies with innovative products and ideas and primarily targets small and medium-sized enterprises.

Droniq won second place in the "Innovation" category with its U-Space Reallabor Hamburg project.

Jury: A top-class jury from business, politics and the media decides on the winners in the three categories in a two-stage selection process.

ATM Award

The ATM/UTM Awards are presented by industry publication Air Traffic Management Magazine and the Unmanned Airspace Platform.

The awards recognize outstanding concepts and achievements in the areas of safety, innovation, cost efficiency and the environment around airspace management.

Droniq won first place in the "UTM Innovation" category with its U-Space Reallabor Hamburg project.

Jury: A top-class jury consisting of industry representatives reviewed and evaluated the project proposals submitted.

Innovation Award Reallabore

The award, which is being presented for the second time this year, is presented by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK).

The aim of the Innovation Award is to make reallabs visible, to recognize innovative ideas and to encourage new reallabs.

Droniq won first place in the category "Retrospectives: completed reallabs" with the U-Space Reallab Hamburg project.

Jury: Panel of experts chaired by Dr. Anna Christmann, Member of the German Bundestag, Federal Government Coordinator for the German Aerospace Industry

Future Skies Award

Droniq received the special "Future Skies" award during a ceremony of the European Startup Prize for Mobility (EUSP), which took place under the auspices of the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The EUSP is an acceleration and investment program established by the EU for startups in the field of sustainable mobility. Launched in collaboration with the European Parliament, the European Commission, the European Investment Bank, EIT InnoEnergy, GSA, SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking, Europe's Rail and together with major mobility companies and tech giants, this public-private initiative aims to support and scale up smart and sustainable mobility startups across Europe.
