At a glance
The goal
The goal of the Rhineland-Palatinate Police is to reliably monitor and safely coordinate air traffic in its operational area at all times. This requires an up-to-date, integrated, and easily accessible air situation picture that is directly available in existing operational systems.
The implementation
Droniq is providing the Rhineland-Palatinate police with its live aerial situation as a data stream . Via a specially developed interface, the real-time data is integrated directly into the existing operations center applications. The live air situation displays both manned and unmanned flight movements, including altitude, speed, and direction. This provides operations centers with an up-to-date picture of air traffic in the operational area at all times. Thanks to integration into existing systems, no additional applications are required—the information is immediately available within the familiar work environment.
Our contribution
With its live air situation awareness, Droniq supplements existing operational systems with a precise, dynamic air situation picture. The provision of data via standardized interfaces enables seamless integration into various IT environments and supports better situational assessment, faster decision-making, and more efficient operational coordination.
How Droniq monitors the air and accompanies the demolition
On site in Duisburg, our colleague Jan explains the central role drone use played in the blast - and how Droniq's drone detection system helped to keep the airspace safe and free of unauthorized drone flights.
