DJI Dock: Europe's first operating license

Droniq has received Europe's first out-of-visibility operating license (BVLOS) for the DJI Dock! With this, we show once again what the future of the drone market may look like. Because in addition to the topic of U-Space, automated drone operation will play a role here, where the drone independently and regularly flies a predefined route. This is exactly what drone-in-a-box systems like the DJI Dock make possible, which is why we are all the more pleased to be able to help our customers use these systems for themselves right now.

At the same time, we are celebrating a second premiere: conducting Europe's first BVLOS flight using the DJI Dock with a leading German chemical company. We use the experience gained here to facilitate the operation of the Drone-in-a-Box system for future customers. At this point, a big thank you to Globe Flight and DJI, with whom we worked closely during the operational approval process. This shows once again that only together can we succeed in driving the drone market forward.

We'll tell you more about the topic of automated drone use and possible applications in the time to come.

If you want to learn more about drone-in-a-box systems in general, here is an explanatory video:

The DJI Dock as well as the associated operating permit can be obtained from us in the near future. By integrating our UTM, we also ensure safe drone traffic here at all times.

DRONIQlive:
How drones and AI are helping farmers to identify species in grassland

From mid-March to the end of May, farmers can earn money quickly and easily. The reason for this is Organic Regulation 5, which has been in force since 2023. Farmers who provide evidence of indicator species on their green spaces receive a subsidy.

What is time-consuming by hand is child's play and fast thanks to the drone and AI: the drone flies over the green space in just a few minutes. The collected data is evaluated for possible indicator species using AI-based software. The farmer receives the result a few hours later and can apply for the subsidy.

In our next webinar on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 7 p.m., we will take a closer look at this process.
