Webinar announcement "Drone use in mountain rescue?"
The Hausham Mountain Rescue Service (Miesbach district, Bavaria) is probably one of the oldest drone users among the BOS. The mountain rescue service has been using drones since 2010 - for searching for people in confusing areas, among other things. The mountain rescue service also supports the district of Miesbach with its expertise. We recently equipped the Hausham mountain rescue service with a specially adapted drone solution that meets the special requirements of the alpine operational area - this includes the DJI Matrice M350 drone with H30T, a mobile system for ground-based aerial situational awareness and our HOD4track LTE transponder.
In this DRONIQlive episode, we discuss how the mountain rescue service has continuously expanded its drone activities over the years - and what prompted the district to make greater use of this tool.
