Intended use
With the new Droniq interface, the air situation picture is seamlessly integrated into the edp: incident command software. The Droniq interface in edp:map supports incident command and control centers in the safe and efficient coordination of air and ground forces. The direct integration of the aerial situation picture into the edp: GIS system creates a comprehensive, up-to-date situation picture that makes operational and tactical command and control much easier - both on the ground and in the air.
Parameters such as the flight altitude can be used to narrow down the displayed airspace so that only relevant aircraft movements are shown. Position data can be assigned to individual resources - for example, rescue helicopters or own drones are directly visible on the map. The integration ensures greater safety and a better overview, particularly in the event of major emergencies, disaster control measures or parallel air operations. Operations managers recognize aircraft movements at an early stage, avoid conflicts and make decisions on a clear, data-supported basis.
The interface was developed by Eifert Systems GmbH, which has been providing practice-oriented software solutions for authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS) for over 25 years.
Eifert Systems - reliable software for BOS use
For over 25 years, Eifert Systems GmbH has been developing practical software solutions that reliably support more than 600 customers from the public safety sector in managing daily operations and major emergencies. The operations control software edp: is available both as a classic desktop application and as a modern, platform-independent browser solution. An integrated GIS system forms the central image for displaying the situation and serves as the basis for operational and tactical command and control.
The connection to Droniq is one of the approximately 50 available interfaces. It enables the integration of the air situation picture directly into the edp:map GIS system, so that operational command can track the current air traffic in the operational area at any time. Parameters such as the flight altitude can be used to narrow down the displayed airspace.
In addition, the position data of specific aircraft can be assigned directly to the relevant resources in edp: so that rescue helicopters or own drones are displayed directly on the map. This creates a uniform, up-to-date situation display that shows the entire operational area - ground and air - and provides managers with a sound basis for decision-making.
Scope of delivery
The Droniq air situation interface for the edp:map software from Eifert Systems is supplied. In addition to the provision fee of EUR 999 net, an annual subscription is concluded, which is billed monthly (€ 33.33 net). Billing begins on the 1st of the following month and is on account. A license for 5 users is purchased. The provision fee is payable directly when the order is placed.
The access token for the software is transmitted digitally to the user.
Note: The edp:map software is not included. It is only the interface to it.

Product Features
-
Direct integration in edp:map
The Droniq interface is integrated directly into the edp:map map and situation display system. This means that the air situation data is immediately available in the mission view - without additional programs, interfaces or external displays.
-
Real-time display of the air situation
Rescue helicopters, police helicopters and our own drones are displayed on the map in real time. This gives incident commanders an up-to-date overview of air traffic in the area at all times.
-
Targeted filtering of the airspace
The displayed airspace can be precisely narrowed down using filter functions - for example according to flight altitude or deployment radius. This means that only the air movements that are actually relevant remain in view, which significantly increases clarity.
-
Assignment of position data to resources
The position data of individual aircraft can be assigned directly to the respective resources or units in edp:. This makes it possible to see at a glance which air resource is assigned to which mission.
-
Visualization in the integrated GIS system
The edp:map GIS module forms the central situation picture for ground and air information. The Droniq interface extends this system with the real-time display of the air situation and thus creates a uniform, complete situation overview.
-
Platform-independent use
The interface is available both in the desktop version and in the edp: browser solution. This means it can be used flexibly - in the control center, in the staff or on the move.
-
Part of the edp: interface portfolio
With the connection to Droniq, Eifert Systems is expanding its comprehensive portfolio of around 50 interfaces. The integration fits seamlessly into existing systems and supplements edp:map with a modern, practical solution for displaying the air situation.
