Droniq at the Security Essen 2024

From September 17 to 20, 2024, Security Essen, one of the leading trade fairs for security technologies, opened its doors once again - and Droniq was there! Our colleagues took the opportunity to provide exciting insights into the future of drone technology, hold valuable discussions and make new contacts.

Networking and innovative ideas

Security Essen was a great platform for us to exchange ideas with other experts in the industry. The intensive networking with experts, companies and authorities from the security technology sector enabled us to discuss the latest trends and developments. Many valuable discussions and new partnerships resulted from these meetings.

Lectures on drones and airspace

A particular highlight were the presentations by our experts, who provided deeper insights into the legal and technical aspects of drone use.

  • Alexander Tummes, our expert for aviation law, spoke on the topic of "EU and national aviation law for drones: safety versus security". In his presentation, he outlined the challenges faced by drone operators in a constantly evolving regulatory environment. The balance between safety and security in aviation was examined in detail, as were the differences between EU-wide and national regulations.

  • Jan-Eric Putze, CEO of Droniq GmbH, addressed the question "Drones and airspace - a perfect symbiosis?" in his presentation . He explained how drones can help shape modern airspace safely and efficiently in the future. The focus was on the integration of drones into existing air traffic and the technical innovations that make this possible.

A look into the future

Our participation in Security Essen 2024 showed us how great the interest in drone technologies and their integration into the security sector is. For Droniq, one thing is clear: drones will play an increasingly important role in the security industry - be it in surveillance, rescue operations or infrastructure inspections.
