Intended use
Developed by UAvionix, the Ping20Si Mode S ADS-B transponder is extremely small, lightweight and enables your drone to be detected by a secondary radar (SSR), traffic alert and collision avoidance system (TCAS) and ADS-B in-receiver.

Secure exchange with air traffic control & aircraft
The Ping20Si enables drones to respond to Mode S radar interrogations from ATC and TCAS.

Compact and lightweight
At 20 grams, the transponder can be attached to almost any drone, making it currently the smallest and lightest transponder on the market.

Fulfilled performance classes
The Ping20Si meets TSO-C166b Class B1S and TSO-C122e Class 1 Level 1els @ 20W requirements. In addition, the transponder meets the minimum power requirements of the RTCA specifications: DO-181E Class 1 Level 1els @ 20W, DO-260B Class B1S @ 20W, DO-160G Environmental Class B2.

Constant data exchange
The Ping20Si transmits ADS-B on 1090MHz. GPS and pressure altitude data are provided by the built-in FYXnav position source and barometer.

Wireless autopilot connection
The integration of an autopilot is also not required. Powering and setting is easily done via the via the smartphone with the Ping app. If autopilot integration is preferred, the Ping20Si is compatible with many popular autopilots.
