Integrated camera system

Multiple cameras continuously monitor the drone, the platform, and the area surrounding the docking station. These include interior cameras in the hangar, platform cameras, and overview cameras. They provide live images for remote monitoring and assist operators during takeoff, landing, and maintenance procedures. The close-up camera offers 4 MP resolution (2688 × 1512), while overview cameras use a stereo configuration with 2 × 2 MP (1920 × 1080) and 2.5× zoom.

Automatic loading system

After landing, the drone automatically connects to the platform’s conductive charging system. This allows it to be prepared for its next mission without human intervention.

Remote Monitoring and Mission Management

All data, camera feeds, and weather information are displayed directly in the Avy Base mission software. Communication is handled via dual LTE; an Ethernet connection (RJ45) can be set up as a backup if desired.

Product Features: Avy Dock

  • Weather resistant

The Avy Dock is specifically designed for demanding outdoor conditions. Its weatherproof, corrosion-resistant housing provides long-lasting protection, while the climate-controlled docking station ensures optimal conditions inside. The station can withstand heavy rain of up to 50 mm/h.

  • Autonomy

The Avy Dock enables fully automated takeoff, landing, and charging of the Avy Aera drone—without the need for on-site personnel. The drone can take off in a short amount of time and return on its own after the mission.

  • Remote Operation & Networking

The Avy software allows the station to be controlled remotely. Missions can be planned, monitored, and controlled while the docking station and drone operate in tandem.

  • Precision

For autonomous landing, the system uses GNSS with RTK corrections, achieving positioning accuracy down to the centimeter. This enables the drone to land safely and consistently on the platform
