A look behind the scenes: Fire department, first responders, rescue
Last Saturday, a very special fire department event took place on the premises of the Uhl company in Hemmingstedt: "A look behind the scenes " - organized by the dedicated volunteers Marco Weber and Henning Edler. The aim of the event was to simulate realistic operational scenarios for the fire department, THW and DRK in order to provide practical training in technology, tactics and cooperation - supported by the latest technology from Droniq.
Realistic scenarios - supported from the air
The highlight of the event: an 18-metre-long articulated bus, on which several operational scenarios were carried out - including the rescue of a trapped person. A total of eight exercises were presented - realistic, dynamic and close to the action.
Our colleague Torben Clausen was also on site to provide support. We not only provided several powerful drones, but also provided live aerial images for a better overview and situation assessment. Various DJI drones were used, including the M350, M30, M4T and our TraX air traffic display.
Visibility creates safety: TraX in action
The use of TraX - our air traffic display with warning function, made it possible to display the movement of all drones involved - as well as manned air traffic - in the area of operation in real time. A valuable tool that ensures greater safety and efficiency during parallel operations.
Drone technology supports volunteer work
The event was not only impressive proof of the capabilities of drones in emergency response - it was also a prime example of voluntary commitment. Organizers such as Marco Weber and Henning Edler manage to facilitate practical training with creativity and passion - and thus strengthen civil protection in a very tangible way.
We would like to thank you for the invitation and the trust - and are delighted to be able to make a contribution to safety from the air with our technology.
