Drone inspection in the port of Hamburg

A special mission in the heart of the Port of Hamburg: on behalf of our partner Aero Enterprise GmbH, we inspected the rotor blades of a wind turbine - a task that required not only technical expertise but also careful planning.

Operating license in the port

Due to the special situation, we first had to apply for an operating license. As our aircraft, the Matrice 300, cannot be operated in the open category in the Port of Hamburg, special approval procedures were required. After successful approval, we were able to start our preparations.

Precise inspection with state-of-the-art technology

Our drone, equipped with the Flight Intelligent Box and a LIDAR scanner, automatically flew over each rotor blade from all four sides at a constant distance of 7 meters. Thanks to our P1 camera and a 50 mm lens, we were able to detect the smallest damage in the millimeter range. This precise inspection enables our customers to identify potential problems at an early stage and take appropriate action.

How can we help you?
