Frequently asked questions about commercial drone leasing:

Leasing for drones is possible for 24 or 36 months. The lease term is extended by another 12 months if not cancelled in time (6 months) by the end date.

Drone leasing is intended exclusively for commercial customers. Ideally, the lessee should have been active in the market for at least 24 months. Sufficient creditworthiness is a prerequisite.

Droniq GmbH supports you in the right selection of the drone, prepares the offer and acts as an intermediary in the leasing. The leasing contract itself is concluded with DLL Group (lessor), our leasing partner. The delivery of the drone takes place via Droniq.

Early contract termination is possible at any time upon repurchase at the current residual value of the drone. An extension is also possible after the end of the term. Lease contracts that are not terminated in due time at the end date (6 months) are automatically extended by another 12 months.

At the end of the leasing period, the lessee has the option to purchase the drone for its residual value. Furthermore, there is the possibility to redeem the drone during the leasing period.

There is an electronics insurance that can be optionally selected when the leasing object is contracted, so that in the event of damage, a simple settlement is possible at any time. The insurance partner for the electronics insurance is HDI Versicherung AG.

The use of the leased drone is generally only permitted in Germany. Deviating locations (in other EU countries) must be requested and approved by the lessor. Permanent use outside the EU is not possible.

Only new equipment is delivered to lessees.

Product features of the Hanseatic X825Mk.II

  • Long flight times

Without payload, the Hanseatic X825Mk.II can be flown for a maximum of 55 minutes. The flight time is reduced to approx. 27 min with a payload of 10 kg.

  • Most modern autopilot

Thanks to autopilot with automatic take-off and landing function, the X825Mk.II can be flown by a single remote pilot. Furthermore, navigation is accomplished via waypoints, ground contour flight / terrain-following mode, fail-safe procedures such as RTL and anti-collision. Navigation is also possible without a compass for shipboard operations and in the presence of geomagnetic anomalies.

  • Compact & quick to use

The Hanseatic X825Mk.II has 8 electric motors. Thanks to coaxial arrangement, the drone is compact in design.

Within a very short time, the drone is ready for use.

  • Different payloads can be mounted

The X825Mk.II has a payload of up to 10 kg and allows operation with a variety of payload options such as electro-magnetics, geo-magnetics, daylight / IR camera gimbal, photo camera (50-100 MP). The payloads are quickly interchangeable.

The multirotor drone has a maximum flight time of 35 minutes with a payload of 6 kg.

  • Wind and weather resistant

The Hanseatic multirotor drone was developed by engineers with
years of real-world experience. The X825Mk.II can be used in wind speeds of up to 8 m/s as well as heat or cold and light rain (IP55).

  • Full-service solution

Training is required to operate the X825Mk.II so that the multirotor drone can be operated reliably, safely and efficiently.

In addition, we advise on which payloads and technical solutions, including ground sensors, are best suited for your specific applications. We are also happy to prepare operating concepts, risk analyses and obtain permits.
