The topic of U-Space has been with us for some time. With the Reallabor Hamburg project, we tested EASA's U-Space concept for the first time in Europe and showed how it can work. Always with the goal in mind of enabling safe drone use in urban regions.
Yesterday, EASA took another important step in U-Space by publishing the first Accepted Demonstration Procedures (AM) and Guidance Manuals (GM) for the implementation of U-Spaces.
With the support of Droniq, Kiel's professional fire department relies on a drone-in-a-box solution: drones are ready for action around the clock and fly automatically to the scene. The system proved itself for the first time in regular operation at this year's Kieler Woche.
