Remote Pilot Certificate A2 & BOS Knowledge for Remote Pilots

Press release: Droniq expands testing and training expertise

Frankfurt, 31.01.2023 - Droniq GmbH is expanding its Droniq Academy training platform. In the future, prospective drone pilots will be able to train and take exams for the A2 remote pilot certificate in Mönchengladbach, Kamenz, Cottbus/Neuhausen, Flensburg, Hamburg, Bremen and Kaltenkirchen in addition to the Frankfurt location.

"The demand for drone pilots is continuously increasing among commercial and industrial companies as well as public authorities and organizations with security tasks such as fire departments, rescue forces or police units," explains Droniq CEO Jan-Eric Putze. "With our Academy, we are creating an offering to professionally train them with a view to the applicable rules and requirements. In this way, we lay the foundations for safe drone use at all times."

The newly added operating sites of the Droniq Academy are operated by partner companies. These include Mönchengladbach Airport, the Research and Flight Test Center for Autonomous and Electric Flying (AEF), Luftprofile, Hanseatic Aviation Solutions and Yuneec.

The partner companies can conduct training and examinations at their locations under the umbrella of the Droniq Academy, which has been designated as an examination center (PStF.035) by the German Federal Aviation Authority. For this purpose, Droniq makes its entire training and examination material available to the partners. This includes the IT-based examination system of Droniq partner Aviationexam, which is already one of the leading learning and examination tools in manned aviation. This means that all learning options are available to aspiring remote pilots - from pure e-learning to digital training and traditional classroom training.

"Our goal is to establish the Droniq Academy in Germany, but also in Europe within the framework of further operating sites," reveals Alexander Tummes, Head of the Droniq Academy. "Here, of course, we are also always on the lookout for additional, strong partners."

For the current year, Droniq plans to further expand its Academy training program for commercial and industrial companies, public authorities and organizations with security tasks. The exact training and examination dates can be requested here.
