Intended use DJI Dock 3
The DJI Dock 3 enables a stationary or mobile installation for versatile applications. With the D-RTK 3 relay, a fixed installation improves the signal quality and range up to 25 km - ideal for high-rise buildings or transmission masts.
For the first time, the dock supports vehicle-mounted use, perfect for emergency operations and inspections. DJI FlightHub 2 enables remote location tracking and cloud-based mission planning.
Two docks can be operated simultaneously on one vehicle. With the help of an intelligent rotation pattern, the drones work alternately, ensure a continuous live transmission and can be equipped with spotlights for emergency lighting.

APPLICATION SCENARIOS
OF THE DJI DOCK 3!

Facts about the DJI Dock 3
Highlights of the Dock 3

With the DJI Dock 3, you can master all environments - whether stationary or mobile. The flexible setup and ultra-high transmission range ensure a reliable connection, while the powerful drones such as the Matrice 4D and Matrice 4TD deliver maximum performance. Efficient operation is supported by intelligent functions that optimize the entire operation. An enhanced user experience is provided by the advanced software that enables seamless control and planning. The dock is also secure, industry compliant and part of an open ecosystem that integrates perfectly with existing systems.

High level of adaptation to the environment

The DJI Dock 3 offers outstanding adaptability for use in extreme conditions. It is heat-resistant and allows operation and charging at temperatures up to 50 °C. It is also cold-resistant, operating at temperatures as low as -30 °C after preheating. The Matrice 4D and 4TD are equipped with low-noise, frost-resistant propellers that keep flight stable even in freezing rain. Thanks to a wind stability of up to 12 m/s, the drones offer reliable performance in strong winds and a flight duration of up to 32 minutes. In addition, the DJI Dock 3 is IP56 certified, while the drones are IP55 certified, making them dust and water resistant and ensuring smooth operation in harsh conditions.

Flexible installation

The DJI Dock 3 offers both stationary and mobile applications. With the D-RTK 3 relay and a range of up to 25 km, it ensures stable transmissions, even in complex environments. A new feature is the mobile, vehicle-mounted installation, which enables rapid deployment over long distances. Cloud-based calibration and the DJI FlightHub 2 app allow missions to be planned efficiently. The dual-dock setup also ensures continuous drone rotation and high operational efficiency.

Powerful drones for every mission

The DJI Matrice 4D and 4TD have been specially developed for the DJI Dock 3 and offer extended flight times as well as water and dust protection. Both drones are equipped with multiple cameras: a wide-angle camera, a medium telephoto camera, a telephoto camera and a laser rangefinder. The Matrice 4D is ideal for precise mapping and surface inspections, while the Matrice 4TD is optimally equipped with an infrared thermal imaging camera and NIR auxiliary lighting for infrastructure inspections, emergency operations and public safety. Both drones can also be operated independently with the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise.

Product features of the DJI Dock 3

-
Extremely temperature-resistant
The DJI Dock 3 is specially designed for extreme temperatures and guarantees smooth operation even in heat up to 50 °C. In cold environments, it remains reliable even at -30 °C after a short warm-up, enabling safe use in challenging conditions.
-
Robust and stable under all conditions
The Matrice 4D and 4TD offer impressive wind stability, with stable take-offs and landings in winds up to 12 m/s and a flight time of up to 32 minutes. The DJI Dock 3 protects its systems in harsh environments, while the drones' low-noise anti-ice propellers ensure stable and quiet flight even in freezing rain.
-
Flexible installation
Fixed installation:
The fixed installation of the DJI Dock 3 with the D-RTK 3 Relay ensures excellent performance in overcoming interference and ensures stable video transmissions and reliable satellite reception. By mounting in elevated locations, obstacles can be avoided and the transmission range can be increased to up to 25 km. This allows the dock to be flexibly adapted to the respective location requirements, for example near high-rise buildings or transmission masts, where the signal quality is further optimized.Mobile, vehicle-mounted installation:
The DJI Dock 3 supports mobile installation on vehicles for the first time, making it ideal for use in hard-to-reach places. The entire structure, including cooling and components, has been tested for vehicle vibration. New features such as horizontal calibration and cloud-based site calibration enable precise control. For emergency operations and long-distance inspections, the gimbal mount provides a flexible solution for vehicle mounting of the dock. -
Powerful drones
