An innovative drone project at Cottbus/Neuhausen Airport

If you want to see an exciting project in the drone market in the next few months, you should look to Brandenburg. An ambitious project is being planned at Cottbus/Neuhausen Airport: the use of drones on the airport site.

The first step: creating an operating concept

The first step in this project is the creation of an operating concept. Droniq is responsible for developing this concept. The aim is to enable the airport to operate a drone weighing up to 100 kilograms within a radius of 10 kilometers. And not just once, but during regular operations and, of course, safely at all times.

A pioneer in drone operation

With the implementation of this concept, Cottbus/Neuhausen Airport would be the first of its kind to realize such a drone operation. This represents a significant step in the commercial use of drones in Germany.
