If nothing changes here in 2025, the next cutting-edge technology after the air cab drama is in danger of going out of business!
The current market picture looks TERRIBLE:
An over-regulated, unnecessarily complicated set of rules makes it IMPOSSIBLE to use drones quickly.
In addition, there are long WAITING TIMES for permits.
The RESULT:
More and more drone companies are pulling out, while potential users are DRAGGING to use drones.
In my view, an improvement in the situation is only ESSENTIALLY in sight.
The solutions proposed by the BMDV are a step in the right direction - but their implementation must be much FASTER!
The market has long since shown that drones can be used SAFELY and EFFICIENTLY.
SO WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?
My APPEAL to the future federal government:
Help to give the drone market an INDEPENDENT FUTURE in Germany again!
By promoting PILOT PROJECTS THAT HAVE BEEN RECOGNIZED, which must also be transferred to regular operations!
These will encourage FOLLOW-UP and help to increase the ACCEPTANCE of the drone among the population.
To this end, drone applications must be able to take place within a SAFE FRAMEWORK - and without excessive expenses for the companies!
Especially when it comes to regulation, their FAHCWISSEN must be heard more often!
Because this EXPERTISE will help to cut through the existing regulatory knot in order to make this market in Germany innovation- and practice-friendly!
Confidence in the potential of this industry and in the drone as a tool will grow again.
And that is exactly what our MARKET needs now!
