Deloitte: Drones in healthcare

Advancing digitalization is opening up new opportunities in emergency care in the healthcare sector. Drones, for example, can help save lives and offer the chance to revolutionize logistical hospital processes. Although the technology is mature and successful tests have already been carried out, patients still have to wait a little for first aid from the air. Only the close cooperation of all parties involved and the parallel adjustment of the regulatory framework by the legislator will enable its use in regular operations.

Our CEO Jan-Eric Putze spoke to Deloitte on the subject of "Drones in the healthcare sector" and made it clear that U-Space is a milestone for unmanned air traffic and the starting signal for the use of drones in everyday life and therefore also for use in the healthcare sector.
