EULE research project - closing event

Drones in the service of medical logistics

Three years of intensive research, close collaboration and innovative development lie behind us - the EULE research project has now been successfully completed. The aim of the project was to research drone technology for the fast, safe and efficient transportation of medical goods and to test it for practical use.

Droniq's contribution to the project: Integration of drones into the airspace

Together with RWTH Aachen University, Droniq investigated how U-Space services from the Droniq UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) can contribute to the safe integration of drone flights. These include, for example, tracking functions and the provision of traffic information in real time. The focus was on the direct integration of drones into the airspace - a key step for their reliable and scalable use in the healthcare sector.

The goal: smooth and safe integration of medical transport flights by drone into existing air traffic. The results were presented at the closing event and impressively demonstrate the potential of combining modern drone technology with intelligent airspace management.
