Greater security for critical infrastructure: with the drone detection system from Droniq
With its new explanatory video, Droniq shows how the drone detection system (DDS) effectively protects operators of critical infrastructure from unauthorized drone flights—and ensures greater transparency in airspace.
More and more drones flying over critical infrastructure
Drones have long been part of our everyday lives—for inspections, filming, or logistics. But they are increasingly appearing where they have no business being: above critical infrastructure (KRITIS) such as energy plants, communication centers, or industrial complexes.
For operators, this means increased security risks. It is often unclear who owns the drone, what it is doing, or where the pilot is located. This uncertainty poses a serious threat—both to operations and to public safety.
The solution: The Droniq Drone Detection System (DDS)
With the Drone Detection System (DDS) , Droniq offers a solution that reliably detects and locates unauthorized drone flights. The system analyzes the frequency bands of common drone models—regardless of whether they transmit a remote ID or not. This allows even unregistered, so-called uncooperative drones to be detected.
In addition to the drone's position, the drone detection system also detects the pilot's position. Both pieces of information are fed into the Live Air Situation TraX . There, the user receives a real-time overview of air traffic in their vicinity.
Real-time air situation for greater airspace safety
If an unexpected drone flight occurs, TraX warns you. TraX will alert the user visually and acoustically. This allows operators of critical infrastructure to react immediately and take appropriate measures.
The combination of the drone detection system and Live-Luftlage TraX thus offers a complete security solution —from detection to alerting.
