The city of Leonberg's new drone equipment vehicle

Ready for use even faster

The example of the town of Leonberg shows what modern drone technology looks like in civil protection. At AERO Friedrichshafen, our colleague Phil Stephan presented the new drone equipment vehicle (GW Drohne) together with Jens Schulte from Leonberg Civil Protection. In an interview, he gave us exciting insights into the vehicle's structure, equipment and benefits - and how Droniq supported its implementation.

State-of-the-art technology for rapid assistance from the air

The drone equipment vehicle is specially designed to enable rapid aerial reconnaissance and situational awareness during operations - whether during storms, fires or major emergencies.
Also on board:

The combination of compact operational readiness, robust equipment and digital air traffic connection makes the equipment vehicle a valuable support for the emergency services on site.

A role model for modern emergency response

Leonberg impressively demonstrates how drone technology can be integrated into existing civil protection structures in a sensible and practical way. We are delighted to be able to support the project with our experience, our products and our training expertise.
