Survey on Drone Detection at Critical Infrastructure Sites

Droniq and BSKI Launch Joint Survey

Unauthorized drone flights over critical infrastructure, industrial facilities, and other sensitive areas are increasingly drawing the attention of operators and security officials. At the same time, there is growing interest in how relevant this issue actually is in practice, what experiences have already been gained, and what requirements this will entail for the future.

Against this backdrop, Droniq GmbH and the Federal Association for Critical Infrastructure (BSKI) are jointly conducting a nationwide survey on drone detection in the KRITIS sector.

The purpose of the survey is to gather the experiences, assessments, and expectations of critical infrastructure operators and to use this information to develop an up-to-date assessment of the drone security situation in Germany.

What insights is the survey intended to provide?

The joint survey is aimed at operators of critical infrastructure as well as those responsible for security, resilience, and risk management.

Among other things, the focus is on the following questions:

  • How important do operators currently consider the issue of drone detection to be?
  • What experiences have been gained so far with drone operations?
  • What challenges are involved in protecting sensitive sites?
  • What technologies and processes are currently in use?
  • What developments are expected in the coming years?

The anonymized analysis is intended to highlight trends, challenges, and areas for action that are of particular importance to operators of critical infrastructure.

Why It's Worth Participating

The survey takes only 8 to 10 minutes to complete. All responses will be analyzed anonymously.

Participants can receive the study’s results upon request. These provide comprehensive insight into the assessments, experiences, and plans of other KRITIS operators and offer a cross-industry perspective on the current situation.

Take the survey now

We look forward to the participation of representatives from critical infrastructure organizations as well as other security-related organizations and institutions.

Thank you very much for your support and your contribution to a better understanding of the challenges and developments in the field of drone detection at critical infrastructure sites.
