Project partners meet in Brussels
Today, Droniq participated in the Technical Review Meeting of the SAFIR-Ready research project. The project partners came together at the SESAR Joint Undertaking in Brussels to present current progress, exchange findings and coordinate the next steps. Susanne Günther and Florian Kleinig from Droniq were on site to present the results to date and provide valuable input for further developments.
The review meeting provided an excellent opportunity to reflect on the current project status. In addition to presenting the progress made so far, technical details were discussed in depth and strategic decisions were made for the next milestones. The exchange between the consortium partners was particularly important in order to identify common challenges and agree on solutions.
SAFIR-Ready at a glance
The EU-funded SAFIR-Ready project aims to enable the safe and efficient integration of drones into European airspace. In particular, the focus is on U-space services that ensure safe coordination between manned and unmanned air traffic. The consortium of 31 partners is developing and testing innovative solutions to create the basis for the widespread commercial use of drones in Europe.

Our solutions support safe and compliant drone integration and help to ensure that U-Space services can be used effectively.
