DJI Dock 3, perimeter protection, and drone detection in focus
Our colleague Ariel Aronov was on site at Enforce Tac in Nuremberg to test the DJI Dock 3 in security-critical environments. Discussions focused on robust infrastructure, perimeter protection, energy-autonomous supply concepts, and powerful drone detection.
DJI Dock 3 in safety-critical environments
Perimeter protection using drones is becoming increasingly important in critical infrastructure and government environments. The DJI Dock 3 enables automated, location-based operations for regular monitoring of defined security areas.
Especially for critical infrastructure, industrial facilities, or security-relevant properties, a dock-based drone solution offers the possibility of reliably and repeatedly monitoring defined perimeters.
Energy-autonomous docking solutions for resilient infrastructure
For many perimeter protection scenarios, off-grid operation is crucial—for example, at remote locations or in temporary security situations.
With the help of battery and fuel cell solutions, Droniq enables energy-autonomous concepts for the DJI Dock 3. This allows perimeter protection to be reliably implemented even without a fixed power connection.
Drone detection as a supplement to perimeter protection
In addition to actively scouting the situation with our own drones, drone detection was a key topic of discussion.
With our DDS system and the web-based application TraX , Droniq displays the air situation in real time. Particularly relevant for perimeter protection: the reliable differentiation between cooperative and uncooperative air traffic.
This creates a comprehensive picture of the situation—both inside and outside the defined protected area.
Holistic approach for BOS and KRITIS
The combination of:
