New "Northern Fire" fire academy launched
The first conference of the new "Northern Fire" firefighting school took place on the grounds of the GreenTech Campus and Offtec Base. The school, founded by the Werkfeuerwehrverband Nord (WFVN) and Offtec, started operations at the beginning of the year and offers special training for fire departments and plant fire brigade operations. Around 50 participants came together to find out about new technologies and possible applications in the field of modern firefighting.
Drones as support for the fire department and civil protection
Our colleague Torben Clausen was on site with a presentation and a practical demonstration to show how drones can support fire departments in their challenging day-to-day operations. Among other things, the DJI drone models M4T, M30T and M350 with the H30T camera were presented and demonstrated. These drones enable precise situational awareness from the air and support emergency services in recognizing dangers at an early stage and responding to them efficiently.
Drones are playing an increasingly important role in coordinating operations, locating people and fires and supporting the emergency services. They provide crucial real-time data from the air, especially in complex situations, hazardous goods accidents or forest fires.
In addition to the drone demonstration, an innovative firefighting robot from Alpha Robotics was also presented. This technology complements modern firefighting operations and shows how robotics and unmanned systems can make the work of the emergency services safer and more efficient.
Droniq is pleased to contribute to the further development of innovative technologies for the safety and efficiency of emergency services with such events. The close cooperation with fire department associations and organizations shows that drones have become an integral part of modern operations.
