Real-time air traffic data for BOS software providers via new Droniq interface
Frankfurt, 19.11.2025 - In future, Droniq GmbH will also make its live air situation available via a specially developed interface if required. Authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS) can thus integrate the live air situation directly into their operations control center applications and command support systems. This facilitates situation assessment, improves operational coordination and increases safety in the airspace.
The Droniq live air situation displays both manned and unmanned aircraft movements in real time. It provides information on which air traffic participants are in the immediate vicinity of the user, at what altitude they are flying and at what speed they are traveling. This gives incident commanders an up-to-date overview of air traffic in the operational area at all times. Initial partners such as Eurocommand, a provider of the command support software "CommandX", and Eifert Systems, a manufacturer of the mission control software "edp:", have already integrated the interface into their systems.
Thanks to the integration, this information is available directly in the familiar map view of the software systems. An additional application is not required. In this way, operations managers only see the data relevant to them. The interface automatically transfers the information to the existing software environment.
The integration of the air situation is intended to help assess operational situations more comprehensively and identify potential conflicts in the airspace at an early stage. This can improve safety and planning, particularly in the event of major incidents or parallel air missions.
"The integration of the Droniq live air situation provides BOS with a more complete picture of the situation," says Thilo Vogt, Director Sales at Droniq. "The air situation supplements existing systems with real-time data from the airspace and thus supports better coordination of air and ground operations. We are delighted to already be working with the first partners in this area and are open to collaborating with other providers of control center, command and control and situation systems."

About Droniq GmbH
Droniq GmbH is a joint venture founded in 2019 by DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung (51% share) and Deutsche Telekom (49% share). Based in Frankfurt am Main, the company's mission is to promote the professional and safe use of drones by public authorities and organizations with security tasks, as well as by companies.
The core of Droniq's product offering is the Droniq Traffic Management System for Drones (UTM). The UTM shows the pilot all surrounding air traffic - manned and unmanned. Furthermore, the other air traffic participants can also see the drone if necessary. With this system, which is unique in Germany, Droniq creates the basis for using drones safely beyond visual range.
Other services offered by Droniq include the sale of drones for commercial and official drone use as well as hardware and software solutions for the safe operation of drones and the detection of unauthorized drones. It also supports its customers in applying for operating licenses and advises on mission planning. With its Drones-as-a-Service division, Droniq also takes care of drone flights for its customers if required and handles all associated requirements.
With its Droniq Academy, located in Frankfurt and Mönchengladbach, Droniq also offers the opportunity to complete training courses and exams for remote pilots. Droniq's customers include federal and state police units, fire departments, rescue services, and companies in the chemical, logistics, construction, and security sectors.
