Drones can be used in a variety of ways. They help to implement processes faster, more effectively and more economically.

The energy industry also benefits from the use of drones: the monitoring of power pylons or lines, inspection of photovoltaic and solar installations, the inspection of wind turbines or the early detection of damage are just a few examples where the drone can efficiently support processes of energy providers.

However, as promising as the use of drones may be, their safe and legally compliant use often poses a challenge. We will be happy to advise you on all questions relating to planned or future drone operations.

HOW OUR
UAS TECHNOLOGY
IN THE ENERGY SECTOR
CAN SUPPORT

Thyssengas is a gas transport company that indirectly supplies gas to important industrial plants and millions of households. For this purpose, around 4,200 km of gas transport pipelines have to be monitored on a regular basis. We shed light on the possibilities of using drone technology. It is hoped that this will be a more efficient and environmentally friendly alternative than helicopter flights.

Droniq shows you how efficient drone operations work in the energy sector.

Many commercial and government drone operations require the drone to be able to fly beyond visual range. With the start-up in Lower Saxony, we are demonstrating once again how appropriate routes can be set up and flown safely researched is exactly the right location for this, to face the challenges of coordinating different drones in the lowest airspace. Numerous flight tests and simulations were carried out as part of the project and we are now looking forward to the detailed evaluation.

With this project, we are laying the initial foundations for integrating air cabs into air traffic efficiently and, above all, safely. In doing so, we are taking another important step toward advancing Germany as a lead market for unmanned air traffic.

The implementation of the first LUC's will give a further boost to commercial drone use in Germany. Droniq's mission is the safe and fair integration of drones into the airspace.

By flying over Colonius, we obtain detailed images and data about the building fabric in areas of the tower that can otherwise only be inspected at great expense. The LUC will help us to speed up the further digitization of our site management.

Spokesman of the Management Board of DFMG Deutsche Funkturm GmbH

The Droniq team is not only creative and customer-oriented, but also extremely competent. Both the training courses and the advice and support with regard to official procedures take place at the highest level. We are pleased about this successful cooperation.

Project Manager Evonik

With Droniq's services, our fixed-wing drones will be able to fully exploit their performance potential for long-range missions and large-scale aerial flights. Droniq thus creates the conditions for using drones efficiently and opening up new markets. We are looking forward to the first projects using the Droniq service.

Our offer for safe drone operations

  • Possible applications of drones

We show you what is possible with drones, what added value they provide and which regulations must be observed.

  • Consulting

We advise on the integration of drones into operations, the planning of complex drone flights, prepare risk assessments (SORA) as well as operational concepts (ConOps) and help with correspondence with the relevant authorities as well as approval processes.

  • Traffic integration for drones (UTM)

Through our innovative hardware and software solutions, we ensure that your drone is visible to surrounding air traffic throughout the entire mission - and that you, too, are always in view of other road users, allowing you to fly safely and in compliance with the law.

  • Aerial flights with drones

If you are looking for remote pilots for your flight project, we will provide you with experienced drone pilots.

  • Drones & Accessories

Droniq supports you manufacturer-independently in the selection and search for the right drone model for your planned project.

  • Trainings & Exams

In our Droniq Academy we offer training (theory & practice) as well as examinations to obtain the EU Remote Pilot Certificate.

Case studies: Droniq supports in action

DRONIQlive:
How drones and AI are helping farmers to identify species in grassland

From mid-March to the end of May, farmers can earn money quickly and easily. The reason for this is Organic Regulation 5, which has been in force since 2023. Farmers who provide evidence of indicator species on their green spaces receive a subsidy.

What is time-consuming by hand is child's play and fast thanks to the drone and AI: the drone flies over the green space in just a few minutes. The collected data is evaluated for possible indicator species using AI-based software. The farmer receives the result a few hours later and can apply for the subsidy.

In our next webinar on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 7 p.m., we will take a closer look at this process.
