EINSATZZWECK

Die Mobile Ground Station (kurz MGS) ist eine mobile Verkehrsempfangsstation und dient in Kombination mit dem HOD4track Deutschland und einer UTM-Lizenz (UTM Trackviewer, UTMpro oder UTMagent) der Unterstützung von UAS-Fernpiloten beim Flug außerhalb der Sichtweite (BVLOS).

Als Sensor für Luftverkehrsdaten empfängt es ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast) und FLARM-Signale (Flight Alarm) der umliegenden Luftverkehrsteilnehmern (z.B. Segelflugzeugen, Hubschraubern, Motorflugzeugen). Diese Signale werden per LTE in das Droniq UTM (UAS Traffic Management) System eingespeist und dort mit weiteren Datenquellen ausgewertet.

Zusätzlich sendet das MGS die eigene Position an das Droniq UTM und wird dort
ebenfalls sichtbar. Mit einem UTM-Webzugang von Droniq kann sich der Pilot
alle im UTM vorhandenen Verkehrsdaten fusioniert anzeigen lassen: so komplettiert
das MGS die Luftlagedarstellung des UAS-Piloten.

Durch die kompakte, modulare Bauweise (Dreibein, Antennenausleger,
Receiver) und die Zertifizierung nach IP67 kann das MGS schnell an verschiedensten Standorten betrieben werden. Die Stromversorgung beispielsweise über eine Powerbank trägt weiter zur autonomen Nutzung bei.
